Sting sarà in concerto a Berlino

Prossimamente Sting si esibirà a Berlino con il tour My Songs

Nel 2020 Sting tornerà in Germania. Lunedì 29 giugno 2020, dalle ore 19:00 alle 22:00, l’artista sarà in concerto a Berlino. Nel tour My songs saranno presentate le sue canzoni più celebri, reinterpretate in un’ottica del tutto contemporanea e originale. In scaletta ci saranno anche alcune canzoni di The Police. Il concerto si terrà alla Merced-Benz arena di Berlino. Le prevendite e i biglietti saranno disponibili dal 30 ottobre alle ore 18:00.

My Songs, il nuovo album di Sting

L’album My Songs, pubblicato la scorsa primavera, contiene quindici versioni rielaborate di una selezione delle canzoni più conosciute di Sting in tutta la sua carriera, sia come membro dei Police che come solista. Sting ha descritto le nuove versioni delle canzoni come ricostruite, rimesse a nuovo e rimodellate in una versione originale e contemporanea. “My Songs is my life in songs. Some of them reconstructed, some of them refitted, some of them reframed, but all of them with a contemporary focus”, ha dichiarato l’artista. L’album sarà inoltre accompagnato da nuove note di copertina (scritte dall’autore) che raccontano delle vicende personali del cantante e forniscono informazioni più dettagliate sull’ispirazione di alcune canzoni. Nell’album sono presenti anche le notissime Every Breath You Take, Message in a Bottle, Englishman in New York e Desert Rose.

My Songs tour

Il tour di Sting è iniziato il 28 maggio 2019 a Parigi e si svolgerà tra Europa e America. In Germania l’artista si esibirà a Colonia, Erfurt, Nuova-Ulma, Halle, Berlino, Monaco, Bonn, Würzburg e Tüssling.
